Diego joined Novartis nine years ago as the Director of New Products & Portfolio Strategy for the LatAm Region, based in NJ. During this period, he also had responsibilities for mature brands and Therapeutics Integrity initiative as well. He was later appointed Regional Brand Director, where he was responsible to launch key products across nine markets. Most recently, he was the Colombia Hematology Franchise Head.
Before Novartis, Diego worked for J&J in Mexico, responsible for the Oncology Franchise in Mexico, Central America & Caribbean Countries. Previously in the US, he was a Senior Manager in J&J Pharma Global Strategic Marketing in Raritan, NJ.Diego is an Oncologist; he completed his Residency Program with rotations at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and at William Beaumont Hospital, Michigan. He holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University
