In his role at eBay Joel is responsible for many key user experiences across the organization, including selling, shipping, returns, and security. He is responsible for creating and owning eBay’s first online interactive style guide, helping more than 100 employees follow brand guidelines and use an appropriate tone of voice. Also, employing user research methods to evaluate the style guide’s content and effectiveness. Joel leads extensive collaboration and internal reviews with stakeholders to ensure that content is timely, understandable, and legally compliant.
