Zach Schendel is the Director of UX Research at Netflix. His team of consumer insights experts seeks to give our members a front row seat at the Netflix Product Innovation table. We bring joy to our members through tactical and strategic UI, feature, and algorithmic optimization, helping 100 million global users of all ages find something great to watch. Previously, after receiving his PhD in Cognitive Psychology from Ohio State, Zach has led insights work across all 5 senses for billion dollar brands, from touch (lotion skinfeel) and audition (music cognition), to olfaction (fragrance), vision (movies), and taste (heart-healthy meals).
