The Potential for Ageless Innovation in Smart Citiesby Terry Bradwell
Chief Enterprise Innovation Officer
The goal of a smart city is to connect its assets and infrastructure with its government and citizens through cutting-edge technology. As more smart cities are developed however, that technology must be being designed to benefit every citizen -- across all levels of need and every age group. Designing the smart city for all ages is a huge economic and social impact opportunity for companies and governments. By serving all age groups, companies can increase their potential customers’ buying power by trillions of dollars. Being more inclusive of all age groups will also broaden the constituency and increase goodwill toward developing smart cities.
